Plastic Waste Collection

“Right now, eight million tonnes of plastic ends up in the oceans every year…. The actions of any just one of us may seem to be trivial and to have no effect. But the knowledge that there are thousands, and hundreds of thousands of people who are doing the same thing - that really does have an effect.”

-Sir David Attenborough

Give us your trash and we’ll make it treasure.

Does the amount of plastic in your garbage keep you up at night?

If so, you’re one of us. Designate a separate bin to store your clean, dry plastics and we will take it off your hands, keep it out of our environment, and transform it into a beautiful wildlife sculpture.

We are currently accepting plastic waste for a fee of $10/pound. This pays for processing, storage, and helps to fund future projects.

Your effort makes a difference. Thank you!

What kind of plastics do we accept?

bags

Grocery, produce, any bag that contained dry goods: chips, crackers, cereals, you name it!—it’s alright if there are some crumbs inside, but do try and shake those out if possible!

packaging

Bubble wrap and plastic packaging—please pop beforehand if you have the time—it’s oh so satisfying!

bottles, cups

Thin plastic water bottles, straws, to-go lids, etc.

and more…

If you have heavily soiled plastics and you want to go above and beyond—simply wash out any food residue and let air dry.

If you can crunch it down or smash it up, it’s clean and dry, toss it in the bin!
