Board of Directors

Gabriel Dice
President
Gabriel was born an artist. He grew up in the secluded Klamath River Valley with a natural love of animals and wild spaces. Throughout his career he has explored many mediums, but found himself most drawn toward sculpting.
After working for five years as lead artist at the Rainforest Art Project, an organization that brings art and art education to elementary schools, Gabriel went out on his own as a freelance artist and founded Endangered Concepts, an organization of artists that would use their craft to create positive social change.
Maria Dice
Vice President
Maria is both a student and teacher of the healing arts including meditation, yoga, bodywork, nutrition, and hypnosis. Her background in this field shaped her belief that what’s good for the Earth is good for us. Maria believes in the interconnectedness of nature and the power of art to raise our collective awareness.
Maria is also passionate about understanding the nonprofit sector, collaborating with other changemakers, and creating a lasting impact through art, education, and partnerships.
Kendall Abady
Secretary
A scientist by education, fundraiser by profession, and environmentalist at heart, Kendall joins the team with experience in grant writing and major donor stewardship as well as on-the-ground conservation research and restoration. She currently serves as the Assistant Director of Philanthropy at the San Diego Natural History Museum, but her passion for people and the planet began on a small farm in Haiti. This passion has driven her career through the Biodiversity Research Center of the Californias, local farms, Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, and has now landed her at The Nat.
She is thrilled to join the Endangered Concepts team where she hopes to grow with the organization, strengthen their fundraising strategies, and educate and inspire a love of the environment.
Brandon Burnett
Treasurer
Brandon co-founded and operates a successful accounting firm with branches in Los Angeles, Denver, and Albuquerque. He loves his work because it allows him to help businesses and individuals grow and prosper.
Brandon has always had a passion for helping creatives expand and thrive financially. His strength lies not only in his passion for his field, but in his enthusiasm and love of bringing a vision to life and turning dreams into reality.
